Eligibility:

• Must be a registered attendee of WeAreDevelopers World Congress Berlin 2026
• Open to developers of all skill levels -no prior AI experience required
• Participants must be 18 years or older

Team Formation:

• Teams of 2-4 members
• You may form teams in advance or find teammates at the event
• Each participant may only be on one team

Technical Requirements:

• All projects must be built during the hackathon period
• Projects must use at least one AWS service (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands)
• Pre-existing code may be used for boilerplate/setup only — core functionality must be new
• Projects must be submitted via DevPost 

Submission Requirements:

• A written description of your project and the problem it solves
• A link to your public GitHub repository

Code of Conduct:

• All participants must adhere to the [WeAreDevelopers Code of Conduct] and the [DevPost Terms of Service]
• Be respectful, inclusive, and collaborative
• No plagiarism. All submissions must represent original work created during the event
• Judges' decisions are final

Intellectual Property:

• Teams retain full ownership of their projects
• By submitting, ou grant AWS permission to showcase your project in promotional materials (with credit)
